Wellcome to:
Hostal la Casa del Tio Dach
"The Casa del tio Dach" was build in 1890 in the historical area of mérida( four blocks to main zocalo) The house belonged to the Paz Ferraez brothers, among them was my grand mother Hernilda (Chachá) the only one who curiosly got married. The Paz Ferraez were dedicated to merchandise groceries for many years.
They were very well know because they were brothers, all singles and succeful, and that time in Mérida there were very few stores like theirs, the store was called "El Negrito".
Uncle Dach, the youngest got older that's why in his last days my father took care of him, this is when the house came to my family. We the nethews decided take back the atmosphere of that time by rebuilding the old house; making of it a place where we can welcome those who likes to relax and enjoy in quite familiar place. We can offer for the guest a peculiar art gallery of yucatans artists as Manuel Lizama Salazar, Victor Argaez, Fernando Palama Burgos, Oscar Montore, Pedro Espadas.
The hostal counts with 24 beds in five rooms with their own bathroom.
If you have decided to visit Mérida "La Casa del tio Dach" is your home.
